FROM THE PRESIDENT

I do not know how everyone else feels but, to me this summer had wings.  I first want to wish all of our membership a “Welcome Back.”  Once again our General Meetings will be held on the fourth Monday of the month at Nonna Bella’s.

I wish to start off by thanking member Christine Malafi of Campolo, Middleton & McCormick, LLP. for spearheading our first Back to School Drive in coordination with the Family Service League.  I also wish to thank those members who allowed having collection boxes place in their store as a drop off.   There are;  Mangia, North Babylon Deli, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, The Shack, North Babylon Wine & Spirits, Piazzola, Brazilian Jiu Jitzu, Buffalo Wild Wings, Nonna Bella’s and Teachers Federal Credit Union.   So far, there this drive has been very successful.  The collections are still on going and will end on October 20, 2018.  So there is still time to donate.

Plans are moving forward to host our 3rd Annual Street Fair on Sunday October 7, on Deer Park Avenue between Stone and Veronica Lane.  It looks like it is shaping up to be our best one yet.  There will be rides, music, petting zoo, face painting and our Pumpkin Patch, along with a variety of vendors and food.  So save the date and plan on attending, the fair will run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.  Rain or shine.

If   you know of anyone that would like to become a member (you do not have to be in business or reside in North Babylon), contact us by email at president@northbabylonchamber.org

Wishing everyone a prosperous after Labor Day.

Yours in Business,

Garrett P. Simulcik, Sr.
