On Monday, June 26 our Chamber Meeting will be held at Mangia Restaurant, located at 785 Deer Park Avenue, in North Babylon, across from Marion G. Vedder Elementary School.  We will start the network portion of the meeting at 6:30 p.m., followed by the General Meeting at 7 p.m.   I would like to than North Babylon Member, John Mangiapane for opening his doors to host our June Meeting.

As many of you know, State Senator Phil Boyle will be our Guest Speaker.   The meeting will start promptly at 7:00 p.m., as Senator Boyle has other engagements immediately following our meeting.  It is hoped that not only will we hear from Senator Boyle but that there is enough time for a brief Q & A.

The Chamber attended the North Babylon High School Scholarship night on Wednesday, May 24 and I was proud to present to three deserving graduating    seniors the Scholarships from the Chamber.  I also represented the Chamber on Friday, June 9th when the son of one of our members, Peter Murphy attained the rank of Eagle Scout.  It was a pleasure to   see the accomplishments Peter accomplished in a very short period of time.  This fine young man has a very bright future ahead of him.

As the summer is nearly upon us, I want to advise the membership that the Board will forego General Meeting in July and August, therefore on behalf of the entire Board; I would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer.  We hope to see everyone back on Monday, September 2 at our September General Meeting.  Keep an eye out as to where the meeting will be.

Yours in business,

Garrett P. Simulcik, Sr.
